Rocky Mountain High School Cheer 2019-2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I count it an extreme privilege to have been entrusted as the head coach of the Rocky Mountain Cheer team. While my coaching philosophy lends itself to some grueling practices, it is my sincere hope and belief that the girls will look back on this season as a highlight among their high school memories.

It is my commitment to my team to treat the coaching staff and each of my cheerleaders with utmost respect.  While sports tend to be an emotional experience for both coaches and players, nothing is gained when we disrespect one another.  Please don’t hesitate to talk to me if you feel or you daughter feel disrespected by the coaches or another athlete in any way.

I work very hard to be a leader that others want to follow.  Winning is very important to me.  I wouldn’t be a good coach if it wasn’t.  However, winning and success are not necessarily synonymous in my book.  Success goes much deeper than just the scoreboard, and so I am preparing for and anticipating a highly successful season!
